Please consider including the sbs-battery driver, CONFIG_BATTERY_SBS=m.
This driver supports i2c-attached "Smart Battery System"
batteries. I have an Atom board with such a battery. (Such batteries
can exist on both 32-bit and 64-bit x86.)
Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores)
Locale: LANG=C.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8)
Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash
