Default Bug#656196: 2.6.29 seems to be stable

I have been running 2.6.29 for some time now, the problem didn't show
up. Next I will try 3.0 to confirm my memory that the problem started
with that version.

Typo: I have been running 2.6.39, precisely 2.6.39-2-amd64
