Looks like the driver has been enabled in Debian since v2.6.39 (bug#624505). But the config files weren't adjusted to enable CONFIG_STAGING_MEDIA after v3.2-rc2~15^2~133 (staging: Move media drivers to staging/media, 2011-11-01) yet so no joy. > | CONFIG_EASYCAP_DEBUG=y Why? Oh, great. >> | CONFIG_EASYCAP_DEBUG=y > > Why? Being a staging driver, I just thought that it would be a good idea for the distribution to have more detailed dmesg logs to ask the users to send in case of problems (and, when pertinent, to send upstream), but if you don't see that need, just drop that part of my request. (The driver does not work 100% anyway, but almost, and I am trying to debug why). > Thanks for the heads up, Thanks for your prompt reply, -- Rogério Brito : rbrito@{ime.usp.br,gmail.com} : GPG key 4096R/BCFCAAAA http://rb.doesntexist.org : Packages for LaTeX : algorithms.berlios.de DebianQA: http://qa.debian.org/developer.php?login=rbrito%40ime.usp.br -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-kernel-REQUEST@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
