Bug#649033: Same here on Thinkpad X220
I occasionally see the same on Thinkpad X220 too. You don't need to
shut down the machine in that case, pressing Ctrl-C is sufficient to interrupt udev and continue to boot. And I see the same messages about killing stuck modprobe, will confirm next time it happens.
