I'm having the exact same issue, disabling n however does not solve the
issue for me.

No you're not; check the dates and versions.

Your subject mentions "Connection lost on WPA: Group rekeying". Where
does this information come from? The kernel log doesn't show any
errors.

Oh sorry,
its in the syslog. And not in the dmesg.

There is never any real errors in any logs... Just this from syslog as
the network stalls:
Dec 6 18:28:41 neith wpa_supplicant[1791]: WPA: Group rekeying
completed with 00:30:bd:9d:ad:6b [GTK=TKIP]

I've found this issue thats very similar and is "up to date":
