cteg, Rik, what kernel are you using these days?

And were you able to try the DSDT changes Luca suggested? (If your
BIOS is different from Javier's, I can help out with this.)

Curious,
Jonathan

Hi Jonathan,

I'm now running unstable and the latest kernel from unstable on that machine.
I've never had this issue after switching to a USB keyboard and mouse.

When I find the time, I'll try a PS/2 keyboard (if I can still find one) on
the system again and see if it still locks up.

Now I've made a quick web search, and learned a little more. If the
kernel you currently use is affected, could you try the following and
report back?

Haven't tried this. If I still experience lockups I can give this a try.

Regards,

Rik

Excellent. It's not urgent, so feel free to take your time.

Ok. It occurs to me now that I should find out what your BIOS does
_before_ suggesting using some random DSDT.

Please attach output from "acpidump".

Thanks for the quick responses.

Ciao,
Jonathan
