Default Bug#649406: usb-storage: System freezes after attaching Huawei E156g usb modem

Package: linux-2.6

Version: 3.1.1-1
File: usb-storage
Severity: important

Connecting a Huawei E156g completely freezes my system for 5-7 seconds every
10-15 seconds. I've had to remove usb-storage module to get it to work. The
problem appeared when I switched to 3.1.0-1 kernel from 2.6.32-5.
