I have also the same problem that i get a "Tx Unit Hang" after some
minutes working with this network card.

Seems to be an old driver problem that is resistant to be fixed.

I will not try to fix a problem that cannot be fixed for years. ;-)
So I will sell this stupid IBM PRO/1000 MT (that have nothing Pro) and i
will take a simply but working RTL 8169 card now for gigabit network.
