Default SVN repo is r/o?

Hi,

Is anyone else seeing anything like this:

$ git svn dcommit 49b139e99bfec86618e67cf06900e648ea1c1ffe
Committing to svn+ssh://ijc-guest@svn.alioth.debian.org/svn/kernel/dists/squeeze ...
M linux-2.6/debian/patches/features/all/xen/pvops.patch
Read-only file system: Can't open file '/svn/kernel/db/txn-current-lock': Read-only file system at /usr/lib/git-core/git-svn line 579

My git-svn config is:
[svn-remote "svn"]
url = svn+ssh://ijc-guest@svn.alioth.debian.org/svn/kernel/dists/squeeze

The error doesn't look git-svn specific to me.

Cheers,
Ian.

I don't know if that is the problem, but I have s/alioth.// (well, and a
different user name).

I didn't test if I can commit though.

Best regards
Uwe

That appears to have done the trick. Thanks.

Annoyingly "git svn" has baked the old URL into every changeset so just
changing .git/config was not sufficient, I had to add a stanza to
~/.ssh/config to rewrite the hostname...

Ian.
