Bug#624373: linux-image-2.6.38-2-amd64: Inserting fuse fails with "Unknown symbol"
Package: linux-2.6
Version: 2.6.38-4
Severity: normal
When trying to mount NTFS partition, I get an error that inserting
module fuse failed due to "kstrtoull" being an unknown symbol and the
drive is not mounted.
$ sudo mount -t ntfs-3g /dev/sdb1 /mnt/disk
FATAL: Error inserting fuse (/lib/modules/2.6.38-2-amd64/kernel/fs/fuse/fuse.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)
ntfs-3g-mount: fuse device is missing, try 'modprobe fuse' as root
