Package: linux-2.6

During boot of 2.6.38-2, the console turns black and doesn't return. Switching terminals doesn't help. I will try to get a screenshot of the boot messages tomorrow if required.

Bug#620603: linux-image-2.6.38-2-amd64: Console turns to black during boot
I have got the same problem since upgrading to
linux-image-2.6.38-2-amd64
the console is turning black, no tty's seem to be running (or I can't
access them) and gdm doesn't start.
I can still reboot by pressing ctr+alt+del and console shows back up
showing normal shutdown messages.
