Bug#620072: Upgrading bash package solves the problem
Hi all
I was able to solve my problem by upgrading the bash package from bash
3.2-4 to 4.1-3.
The note I posted in the "bug report" is now gone from bash's man page,
apparently with Bash 4 /dev/tcp is now supported on Debian.
/etc/init.d/nfs-kernel-server works like a charm and I already have my
first NFS export up and running.
Please accept my apologies for submitting this bogus bug report and
causing any unnecessary work.
Cheers
Patrick
