Bug#618979: System is slow after upgrade to 2.6.38-1

Hello,

I am having the same slowness issues but on the x86 version of 2.6.38-1. My system is slow and sluggish after the upgrade.

Updated to the latest NVIDIA drivers as well but that did not help. I am not using 3d effects at the moment. It feels like gnome is moving in slow motion.
