Default Bug#613247: linux-image-2.6.32-5-amd64: FSC Amilo Pi 1505 reboots/hangs after pressing "silent mode" special key

Package: linux-2.6
Version: 2.6.32-30
Severity: normal

One or two seconds after pressing "silent mode" special key, and after one of
the LEDs confirms mode switching, system reboots inmediately.

The same happens even in single user mode.

Software platforms tested:

Debian Etch / Kernel 2.6.18 (not sure about this)
Debian Etch / Kernel 2.6.24-etchnhalf

Debian Lenny / Kernel 2.6.26-1
Debian Lenny / Kenel 2.6.29 (sid)

Debian Squeeze / Kernel 2.6.32-5

(all of them are amd64 kernels)

This bug has been reported upstream a long time ago. For details, see:

https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13065

Default Bug#613247: linux-image-2.6.32-5-amd64: FSC Amilo Pi 1505 reboots/hangs after pressing "silent mode" special key

I've contacted with another FSC Pi1505 owner that doesn't suffer this bug. It
seems that a BIOS upgrade will solve the problem.

I will upgrade my BIOS and post the result here.
