Default Bug#611827: xserver-xorg-input-evdev: mice and touchpad losing sync and lagging (MORE INFO)

This is the contents of my Xorg.log. It seems the appropriate
synaptics module is being unloaded... perhaps this is causing the
issue?

No, that's a red herring.

Allright, so I have been running for days the 2.6.37 kernel from
experimental with no problems. My touchpad is working just fine.

This bug is really affecting me in the 2.6.32. It was working fine,
but there was an update that messed it up...perhaps a backport? I say
this only because the people from Ubuntu are having problems with the
2.6.35 kernel
