Default Bug#603432: status-update

I've recreated a test-system now (bootstrapped sid, i386).

It booted correctly (and I was able to ssh-login) when using the
2.6.32-5-486 kernel.
With the same -amd64 kernel it (reproducibly) hanged again.

I told this to the friendly Star-Hosting folks, and hope that they'll now
make the tests you suggested before. Guess they'll post it here once done
(or I'll forward it in case they send them to me).

Stay tuned,
