Default Bug#602418: linux-image-2.6.32-5-xen-amd64: with xen 4.0, fork()/clone() fails with ENOMEM during X startup with nv driver

Hmm. So you are running an X server in the dom0 or in a domU?

Please could you try the kernel at http://xenbits.xen.org/people/ianc/
and see if it resolves your issue. (it's currently -26 based and I
really should rebase to -27 but I don't think your issue is new in -27
so it's an interesting experiment)

Ian.

Numeric stability is probably not all that important when you're guessing.

It resolves my issue (bug #602418) and it _also_ resolves bug
#601341 (X with nouveau driver). This seems to confirm that #601341 is
a kernel bug, possibly the same as #602418. Leaving to maintainers the
decision on whether to merge them or not.
