Will this be the same code that has been accepted upstream? If so, I
think we could add it to the linux-2.6 package instead of creating a
separate package.

It has. The DKMS package is the latest code, though, with backport
#ifdefs allowing it to build as far back as 2.6.27. If that's
inappropriate for debian, I can just keep those packages on the ceph
site only.

Since the 'lenny' kernel is based on 2.6.26 and the 'squeeze' kernel on
2.6.32, I don't think it is worth providing a backport that covers
versions in between these. Please do prepare a backport to 2.6.32 that
we can add to the kernel package.
