Default Bug#588509: This bug is being discussed on LKML

There is a very long thread on LKML regarding this issue.

It follows on from the posting of
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/linux/kernel/1246966 as a
candidate for a 2.6.32.x stable release.

There seems to be no final solution at the moment but it seems like one
is on the way and I expect it will make it into the stable series pretty
soon too.

In the meantime it is probably worth testing some of the patches posted
in the thread recently and confirming whether or not they help for you.

In particular the patch in
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/linux/kernel/1249323#1249323 is
probably worth a go.

Ian.
