Default Bug#589072: linux-base: trying to overwrite '/usr/bin/perf', which is also in package perf 2.6.33.1-1

When trying to upgrade linux base from 2.6.34-1~experimental.2 to
2.6.35~rc5-1~experimental.1, it fails because of a missing "Replaces"
and/or "Conflicts":

Preparing to replace linux-base 2.6.34-1~experimental.2 (using .../linux-base_2.6.35~rc5-1~experimental.1_all.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement linux-base ...
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/linux-base_2.6.35~rc5-1~experimental.1_all.deb (--unpack):
