Bug#588741: linux-image-2.6.26-2-powerpc64: Kernel does not boot. Failed to initialize the SCSI-system.
Package: linux-2.6
Version: 2.6.26-24
Severity: critical
Justification: breaks the whole system
The SCSI system is not propery intitialized or detected, since during boot the kernel tries to reset the various devices, but does not accomplish anything.
The older kernel Linux version 2.6.18-6-powerpc64 (Debian 2.6.18.dfsg.1-26etch2) (dannf@debian.org) (gcc version 4.1.2 20061115 (prerelease) (Debian 4.1.1-21)) #1 SMP Sun Feb 21 07:23:23 UTC 2010 works fine.

We need the _complete_ kernel log.

We are preparing the release of Squeeze right now, please test it with
the version from testing.

I'll try to make a screen shot and type the information into a file. Otherwise I have no idea
how to provide a complete kernel log.

This is server hardware, use a serial console.
