Bug#588287: linux-image-2.6.34-1-686: Heavy disk activity triggers a warn_slowpath_common at fs-writeback.c:589
Package: linux-2.6
Version: 2.6.34-1~experimental.1
Severity: normal
When the disk system is used heavily, for example installing software
or writing a big file, a warning is reported. It happens multiple
times in a short time, I trimmed the report below to show the first
and second warnings only (third etc were like second). The report is
always about fs-writeback.c:589.

I think this was fixed in 2.6.34-1~experimental.2; please check.
Ben.

Once a job is fouled up, anything done to improve it makes it worse.

Thanks for the info, updates were ignoring .2 due to dependencies. Now
it is installed, we will see what happens in next days.

I think it has been checked enough, no more errors in logs, even with
some heavy disk activity, so probably time to close the report. Thanks
and sorry for the noise.
