Bug#386226: losing interupts, can't play midi files on audigy 2
I'm seeing a very similar thing.
If I try to play a midi file on my audigy 2, my syslog fills up with rtc: lost some interrupts at 1024Hz. Also, I get errors about setting the rtc on bootup. If I use a homebuilt kernel, and enable CONFIG_HPET_RTC_IRQ for the kernel, things work just fine. I can play my midi files, and the RTC gets set in the kernel. Is there any reason NOT to set CONFIG_HPET_RTC_IRQ=y in the kernel? Mark -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-kernel-REQUEST@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
