I just wanted to add that now "Connection
Information" says that ath5k is running at 5MB/s. I don't think there is
a problem here. The only issues are the minor blue/orange switching and
the feature to disable the wireless using hardware. I forgot to mention
that my laptop is an HP G50-113CA. (I think only the G50 part is
important but I'm including the full name anyways)
