Default Bug#583211: update-extlinux: command not found

Package: linux-2.6
Version: 2.6.26-22lenny1
Severity: important

while upgrading kernel from:
http://security.debian.org lenny/updates/main linux-image-2.6.26-2-686
2.6.26-22lenny1
i've got this:
Examining /etc/kernel/postrm.d .
run-parts: executing /etc/kernel/postrm.d/extlinux
/etc/kernel/postrm.d/extlinux: line 14: update-extlinux: command not
found

command udpate-extlinux is from package extlinux, but this package is
not installed on my system, and kernel package does not depend on
package extlinux.

You must have installed and then removed extlinux, leaving the script
/etc/kernel/postrm.d/extlinux. This is a bug in extlinux - the script
should do nothing if the package has been removed. You can work around
it by purging extlinux.
