Bug#555673: /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.31-1-686: ipw* wireless driver does not support new rfkill framework
Package: linux-2.6
Version: 2.6.31-1
Severity: normal
File: /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.31-1-686
Hi,
I'm using a ipw2200 wireless card.
The upcoming NetworkManager 0.8 package uses the new rfkill switch
framework to determine the rfkill state.
The ipw* drivers do not seem to use the new framework (I don't have any
entry in /sys/class/rfkill for this device).
There only is /sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1e.0/0000:02:02.0/rf_kill
file, which I was told is a ipw* specific rfkill implementation.
