Bug#520409: linux-image-2.6.28-1-686: hangs on via padlock RNG module initialization
Package: linux-image-2.6.28-1-686
Version: 2.6.28-1
Severity: normal
Whenever booting the kernel on my VIA mainboard, it hangs, and I need to CTRL-C the VIA RNG module initialization.
The same problem seems to have been reported here : http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/12823 but couldn't google anything else on the subject.
Best regards,

FYI, commenting padlock_aes and padlock_sha in /etc/modules (and leaving via_rng) worked around the issue (also this worked fine with 2.6.26 from stable).
