can you try 2.6.28 sid snapshot, see sid aptline

Just installed and booted it.

[mike@atom ~]$ uname -a
Linux atom 2.6.28-1-686 #1 SMP Wed Mar 11 04:36:21 UTC 2009 i686
GNU/Linux

Longest delay for the problem to show up was 18 days so far.. so we have
to wait...
