Default Bug#498667: Additional information

The BIOS for the RAID Controller (which reports itself as an LSI device
- MegaRAID Model: LD 0 RAID5 2097G Rev: 815C) is at the latest version
available from Intel's site.

"uname -a" returns the following:

Linux Lexserver2 2.6.18-6-686 #1 SMP Fri Jun 6 22:22:11 UTC 2008 i686
GNU/Linux

The system is a stock Edge installation. The controller is a
hot-swappable model with 4 WD 1 TB drives in a RAID 5 configuration.

Does this error still occur with more recent kernel versions?

Could you try to reproduce this bug with the 2.6.24 based kernel added
in 4.0r4? http://packages.qa.debian.org/l/linux-2.6.24.html

Cheers,
Moritz
