Default Bug#497856: linux-image-2.6.26-1-amd64: USB Storage gets mounted as read only

Package: linux-image-2.6.26-1-amd64
Version: 2.6.26-4
Severity: important

My MP3 Player (iRiver S10 - doesn't matter here, because acts as general USB Storage) was mounted with the last but one revision of the kernel in testing mounted with read and write acsess, the next version broke usb-storage completely, this bug is now marked as fixed: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=494800
So I updated eagerly to the new version of the kernel today with aptitude.
The Device now seems to get mounted correctly:

However, I cannot write on this device, neither as normal user nor as root. I always get the message:

touch test
touch: kann „test“ nicht berühren: Das Dateisystem ist nur lesbar

(sorry, German l8n) which means "File System Read only) - I get this as root and as a normal user. Since everything worked well 2 revisions ago, I assume this is a bug.
