Bug#497332: linux-image-2.6.26-1-686: Hangs up when restarting network
Package: linux-image-2.6.26-1-686
Version: 2.6.26-3
Severity: important
Hi!
When (as root) I "invoke-rc.d networking restart", at the first step my wireless connexion
stops, and when I invoke it again, the system hangs up and I am unable to do anything, even with
the "magic keys". The only solution is to press the reset button.
I started again with the previous kernel to check it and I can do this action without any problem
(I tried it a good number fo times to be sure).
My wireless card is a Ralink one ant it uses the rt61pci module.
