Default Building from svn

Is there a guide to building using svn://svn.debian.org/pkg-kde/branches/kde4?

There are no tarballs in the debian svn so do I just grab a copy from kde trunk and add the debian directory and run fakeroot dpkg-buildpackage?

Thanks

For what it's worth, the only guide I could find was

http://pkg-kde.alioth.debian.org/pkgkdesvn.html

But that just shows how to use subversion.

I figured it out.* Instead of grabbing from trunk, grab the matching release.

BTW, using the Debian svn alowed me to build kdepims (kmail, kaddressbook, etc)
