nepomuk crashes
Hi,
I have every few minutes nepmuk service stub crashing: Application: Nepomuk Service Stub (nepomukservicestub), signal: Aborted I wanted to run now with debug symbols to get a meaningful backtrace, but for some reasons, there are no debug libraries (-dbg*deb). Can anybody help to get a meaningful debug trace? Thanks, Rainer -- Rainer Dorsch http://bokomoko.de/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-kde-REQUEST@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". I have similar problems, see: Bug 282793 - nepomukservicestub, i.e. libstreamanalyzer stub, crashes on scanning home directory https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=282793 I don´t get meaningful backtraces despite debugging packages installed. Sebastian Trüg recommend debug packages for kde base runtime. That would be: kdebase-runtime-dbg Maybe it helps for your case. Another tip, if using unstable or wheezy: Try libstream* 0.76, its recommend in various blog comments. 0.72 has known issues. -- Martin 'Helios' Steigerwald - http://www.Lichtvoll.de GPG: 03B0 0D6C 0040 0710 4AFA B82F 991B EAAC A599 84C7 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-kde-REQUEST@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". It seems to contain about a year's worth of fixes, but it didn't fix the crashing of nepomukservicestub for me, so I've disabled Strigi again :-/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-kde-REQUEST@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Now I can exclude all directories with files that libstream* does not like, but honestly I don´t think I will do that. The thing doesn´t have to crash and thats about it. -- Martin 'Helios' Steigerwald - http://www.Lichtvoll.de GPG: 03B0 0D6C 0040 0710 4AFA B82F 991B EAAC A599 84C7 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-kde-REQUEST@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Seems I am more lucky, I do not see nepomukservicestub crashing anymore after the upgrade to libstream0*0.76 (and the related strigi packages).
