Default flash in konqueror

Okay, I have the same experience as you, embedded works fine and audio from
youtube.com works, but no video.

It is working for me on my amd64, I have some crashes from time to time, but
in general is almost usable.

The only change I see is that if you had enabled the plugins settings
called "load plugin when neccessary" I see indeed that audio starts to run
but not video. Beware of this. I have no other option to totally disable the
plugin or play all the flash contents everywhere, which is slow and cpu
consuming.
