Fair enough - we will just keep a copy of them in the source package for
now then.

In other news, upstream has fixed the bug I sent them[1], so future
versions should have the proper copyright/invariant statements.
Personally, I prefer our current approach (re-build them during package
compilation) to using the pre-compiled files from upstream.
