I have nothing against this. But it now happens than after a week of
connectivity issues (as part of the transition I was talking about),
that now seems over. So I now have the time to comeback to Debian. It
also happens that in the meantime I prepared 3.5.2 upload which
addresses your fixes, the ubuntu ones, and even more, and also imports
a new upstream version to the archive, now it happens there's a NMU,
which i'm not angry about it at all, but it implements most of my
changes, so i had a little bit of trouble by rewritting history.
Nevertheless, thanks for the NMU, and I hope to import 3.6 this week
(if i remember that wishlist) and probably just upload 3.5.2-1
earlier. Thanks for your time, and sorry to all debian users about the
incovenience.

---end quoted text---

I have already prepared SWT 3.6 package on my PPA [1], so if you don't
mind, I would import that into git.
