job posting policies ?
Is it acceptable to post a job opening at an ISP running debian
to this list? I have never seen such a posting here, but I have not found a published policy for the list and I've not seen anyone flamed for posting a job. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-isp-REQUEST@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". i don't see anything at first glance in the AUP, but I'd personally not
want to see job postings on the list. phil Dan MacNeil wrote: > Is it acceptable to post a job opening at an ISP running debian > to this list? > > I have never seen such a posting here, but I have not found a > published policy for the list and I've not seen anyone flamed for > posting a job. > > > -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-isp-REQUEST@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". I don't think I would flame you for it, but I also don't think it's precisely on topic. There is a -jobs mailing list that is probably more appropriate. In general though, thanks for the thought - I am happy to see it. -- ----------------------------------------------------------------- | ,'`.
