The K3754 shows itself as three USB-to-serial adaptors. I doubt that
any usage needs special in-kernel support.

Greetings

Default UMTS/Backup solution for Internet Access and Telephone

Hello Matus UHLAR - fantomas,

If you put in the Huawei K3762-HV and run usb-mosdeswitch you get the
/dev/ttyUSB0. Also you need to load the "chan_datacard" module.

But if you load the "chan_datacard" module, you can not more use UMTS
but instead you can run asterisk which take over this device which is
not correct.

Which mean, even the Huawei K3762-HV support Telephony and UMTS-Data in
the same time, it does not work on GNU/Linux.

I have tried to find the error in the logic of the modules, but failed.

Thanks, Greetings and nice Day/Evening

I do not think so, because the USB Endpoints of the Huawei K3762-HV USB-
Stick are clearly shown and I can use both devices after running
usb_modswitch, but NOT in the same time.

This has something to do, HOW the Kernel modules are working.

The "usb-serial" and "chan_datacard" do not work nicely togehter.

I have already contacted the three developers of "chan_datacard" which
is based on the "chan_mobile" from Digium, but I do not realy know, WHO
contact exactly for this problem.

Thanks, Greetings and nice Day/Evening
