Default Debian gcc-4.6-dbg package useful for plugins?

Hello All,

It would be nice if Debian had a package, perhaps named gcc-4.6-dbg, for debugging
information of the gcc-4.6 package. This would be very useful to develop and debug GCC
plugins.

I have no idea how would that be achievable (because I don't understand in the details
how are the -dbg variants of debian packages made)

Cheers
