Hi,

I just tried with gcc-4.2 and unfortunately it does not seem to work better:

chouca〔source〕$ gcc --version
gcc (GCC) 4.2.3 20071014 (prerelease) (Debian 4.2.2-3)

gcc -O3 -funroll-loops -march=i686 -mfpmath=sse -msse -mmmx -c -o prob.o prob.c
