Bug#656472: ITP: xmltooling -- low-level library to work with XML objects as regular Java beans
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: "Dennis van Dok (Software Engineer)" <dennisvd@nikhef.nl>
* Package name : xmltooling
Version : 1.2.2
Upstream Author : Steven Carmody, Brown University
* URL : https://wiki.shibboleth.net/confluence/display/OpenSAML/Home
* License : Apache 2
Programming Lang: Java
Description : low-level library to work with XML objects as regular Java beans
The XMLTooling library provides the ability to work with XML as
regular Java beans similar to the Java Architecture for XML Binding
(JAXB), XMLBeans and XStream libraries. It offers fine control over
(un)marshalling, extensibility and support for XML Digital Signatures
and Encryption.
In addition it provides a significant amount of support for more
complex tasks such as signing and encryption, key resolution, key
trust fabrics, and others.

The C++ version of this library was already packaged using the xmltooling
source package name to support the Shibboleth SP, so unfortunately you'll
have to use a different source package name. Maybe xmltooling-java?
