Default how to cross architecture build a package

Are you building in an i386 chroot? If not, try that. Adding
"--debootstrapopts --arch --debootstrapopts i386" to the
pbuilder/cowbuilder create command line should get you an i386 chroot,
or just run debootstrap with --arch i386.
