Default Bug#565340: general: dx package appears to be broken - does not install properly

Package: general
Severity: important

I tried to install one of the octave plugins which required the dx package. Unfortunately dx failed to install. Synaptic returned the following error: 'E: /var/cache/apt/archives/dx_1%3a4.4.4-2+b3_i386.deb: broken tar archive - broken package archive' (thats my translation from polish, so it might be slightly different really). I suppose the maintainer of dx should have a look into it.
