It work fine on the shell. But in gnome it types wrong character. Please run '/usr/share/bug/xserver-xorg/script 3>/tmp/xserver-xorg.bug' and send us the resulting xserver-xorg.bug file. Please also send the output of 'gconftool --recursive-list /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard'.
