Default Bug#505968: ITP: urlwatch -- email notifications of changes to URLs

Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Francois Marier <francois@debian.org>

* Package name : urlwatch
Version : 1.4
Upstream Author : Thomas Perl <thp@thpinfo.com>
* URL : http://thpinfo.com/2008/urlwatch/
* License : BSD
Programming Lang: Python
Description : email notifications of changes to URLs

This script is intended to help you watch URLs and get notified (via e-mail) of any
changes. The change notification will include the URL that has changed and a unified
diff of what's changed. The script works out of a single directory, so no need to
install anything. State files are kept in the same folder. The script supports
stripping always-changing parts of a page through the use of a filter hook function.

-- System Information:
Debian Release: lenny/sid
APT prefers unstable
APT policy: (500, 'unstable')
Architecture: amd64 (x86_64)

urlwatch is only 140 lines of Python. The deb will be *tiny*.
