I want to install the gnome-port on my OS CRUX 2.4 with command:
"prt-get depinst --install-scripts gnome-light", but installation failed on "gnome-desktop" package.
Port libxml2 is installed.

Looks like you're missing the Python bindings for libxml2.
Try installing the libxml2-python port.
