hi Bernd,
thank you for pointing that problems. I experimented other build
failures with xf86-video-ati and xf86-video-radeonhd too.
I investigated a bit and the problem is a bug in pkg-config-0.24 that
is now already fixed in pkg-config-0.25 (released on 28/05/2010).
