Set of patches for the Datetime spoke
Let's move on with the Datetime spoke. After applying those patches the only
thing remaining to be implemented in this spoke will be the NTP switch. Is everybody ok with turning NTP on by default? I think that majority of people use it anyway and it shouldn't cause any problems. If a user turns NTP off, we can restore the clock from the hwclock to revert all time modifications. There was a suggestion from Martin Sivak, that we should definitely add a way to set a custom NTP server (at least for corporate users). Would simple '+' button next to the switch be appropriate or do we need some bigger change to the UI? -- Vratislav Podzimek _______________________________________________ Anaconda-devel-list mailing list Anaconda-devel-list@redhat.com https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/anaconda-devel-list |

I am okay with NTP on by default. Make sure there's networking up before doing it, though. > There was a suggestion from Martin Sivak, that we should definitely add a way to > set a custom NTP server (at least for corporate users). How about just to the right of the switch, a button with the configure gears like we have elsewhere in the UI? - Chris _______________________________________________ Anaconda-devel-list mailing list Anaconda-devel-list@redhat.com https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/anaconda-devel-list |

There appears to be a problem when a language with uknown timezone is selected. I'll dive into it tomorrow and send one more patch fixing the issue (I'll squash it with the one that introduced it then before pushing). -- Vratislav Podzimek Anaconda Rider | Red Hat, Inc. | Brno - Czech Republic _______________________________________________ Anaconda-devel-list mailing list Anaconda-devel-list@redhat.com https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/anaconda-devel-list |
