Default problems installing java .sh install script (CentOS 6.2)

I am installing a java program (.sh file), and I get this error. Java

tar: Skipping to next header
tar: Exiting with failure status due to previous errors
Installing java
sed: can't read jre-install.sh: No such file or directory
mv: cannot stat `jre1.6.0_13': No such file or directory
chmod: cannot access `jre/bin/java': No such file or directory

Everything jre-* is yum installed, and "/usr/sbin/alternatives
--config java" is also set

*+ 1 /usr/lib/jvm/jre-1.6.0-openjdk.x86_64/bin/java
2 /usr/lib/jvm/jre-1.5.0-gcj/bin/java

Any suggestions? Distro is CentOS 6.2 (2.6.32-220.4.1.el6.x86_64).
