Hello Götz,
I have tried to do it with a converter script (I don't know the name of
script at the moment, but it was in 2.x rpm). It doesn't work for my
because of the mysql part (postfixadmin). So I did a new installation.

This is what I mean: doveconf -n -c dovecot-1.conf > dovecot-2.conf
In my case, the dovecot-2.conf didn't work, the sql part is missing, ...
